A Shark Is Born.
Three baby Black-nosed sharks and six newborn Caribbean Reef sharks - the first ever of their species to be born in a man-made marine environment at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island.
To celebrate the wonderful success of their birth, Lalique created their very own crystal shark.
The first edition, in the traditional Lalique satin finish, was unveiled in February of 2000 with worldwide exclusivity at the Lalique Boutique at the Crystal Court in the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. This collectors' piece proved so successful that Lalique has created a second edition in a beautiful turquoise, capturing the magnificent colour of the pristine Bahamian waters.
